Mr. John Edward Glover, Jr., age 72, of Lithia Springs, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. He was born January 4, 1946 in Atlanta the son of the late Mr. John E. Glover, Sr. and the late Mrs. Ethel Bishop Glover. Mr. Glover was a member of Colonial Hills Baptist Church and the National Insulator Association and Dixie Jewel Insulator Club. He retired from Brinks as a courier and was also maintenance worker at Colonial Hills Baptist Church for several years. He is survived by his wife, Diane Turner Glover of Lithia Springs; sons and daughters-in-law, Andrew and Bethany Glover of Newnan, Philip and Virginia Glover of Lithia Springs, Joseph and Brandi Glover of Lithia Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Walt Williams of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, David and Drema Glover of Cedartown; seven grandchildren, Abby Glover, Rachel Glover, Johnny Glover, Rebekah Glover, Sam Glover, Autumn Glover and Tori Nguyen; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Ernst and David Hicks officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family asked that contributions be made to the Colonial Hills Baptist Church Missions Fund, 7131 Mt.
