John "Johnny" Olin Shaw

Mr. John “Johnny” Olin Shaw, age 78, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 following an extended illness. Mr. Shaw was born October 22, 1932 in Fulton County, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. John Shaw and the late Mrs. Opal Ragan Shaw. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. He owned and operated Johnny Shaw Used Cars in Lithia Springs for many years and also owned and operated Johnny Shaw Bonding for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner. He was a loving and caring man who had a giving spirit and cared about his fellow man and his community. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Shaw and sister, Katherine Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Jean Puckett Shaw of Lithia Springs; two sons, Ricky Shaw of Rome and Randy Shaw of Lithia Springs; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Clinton Shackleford of Bremen, Martha Ann and Joe Austin of Powder Springs, and Eleanor and Lenny Petty of Powder Springs; brother and sister-in-law, Millard and Judy Shaw of Lithia Springs; two grandsons, Kyle Olin Shaw and Richard Dustin Shaw; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Lamar Rackley officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, December 22, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
