John Miles

Mr. John Rodney Miles, age 68, of Roopville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 13, 2015 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta. He was born November 3, 1946 in Kissimmee, Florida the son of the late Mr. Louis Miles and the late Mrs. June Merrell Miles. He worked as a self-employed insurance agent. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Wallace Miles of Roopville; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Yvonne and Glenn Reddick of Villa Rica; sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney Allan Miles and Denise Doyle of Carrollton, Scott and Tracey Wallace of Rockmart and Shane and Chrissy Wallace of Bremen; four honorary children, Bill Rogers, David Booze, Adam and Misty Dyvig; thirteen grandchildren, Angela Parham, Glenn Eric Jr. and Brandie Reddick, Brittany Miles, Nick Reddick, Payton Miles, Glenn “Max” Reddick, Bailey Wallace, Trent Reddick, Cade Wallace, Kelcey Wallace, Ethan Wallace, Hayley Reddick, Madison Wallace; three great-grandchildren, Timothy Reddick, Joseph Parham, and expected in August, John Hudson Reddick; two nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 3:00 PM from the main pavilion at McIntosh State Park in Whitesburg.
