John Sledd

Mr. John David Ross Sledd, 62, of Mirror Lake Community, Villa Rica, GA passed away, Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta. He was born March 30, 1951 in Roanoke, VA the son of the late Dillard H. Sledd and the late Mrs. Doris Akers Sledd. He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railway, he was a verteran serving in the National Guard. He was an avid golfer. Survivors include 2 daughters, Lizzie Sledd of Ft. Riley, Kansas and Kathy Sledd of Roanoke, VA, 3 sons, Daniel Sledd of Oldsmar, FL, David Sledd of Palm Harbor, FL and Jonathan Sledd of Radford, VA, sister, Kay Anderson of Salem, VA, 3 brothers, Bill Sledd of SC, Harry Wood of Warner Robins, Jeff Sledd of Illinois; 4 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
