John William "Billy" Evers, Jr.

Mr. John William “Billy” Evers, Jr., age 62, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, August 16, 2010. He was born October 1, 1948 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. John William Evers, Sr. and the late Mrs. Hilda Evers. He worked as a pressman for Stevens Graphic Company. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Evon Loftin Evers of Douglasville; three brothers, Thomas Evers, Donald Evers and Doug Evers; one niece and 13 nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Felix Love and Minister Ralph Wallin officiating. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of John William Evers, Jr. may be made to the Crusselle Freeman Church of the Deaf, Post Office Box 11286, Atlanta, Georgia 30310.
