Johnnie Chandler Price

Mr. Johnnie Chandler Price, age 65 of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Monday, July 13, 2020. He was born September 12, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of the late Mr. Elger Price, Sr. and Mrs. Emily Chandler Price. Mr. Price worked as a paramedic for AmbuCare after retiring from 30 years with the GA State Patrol, serving on the Governor's detail for several of those years during Governor Joe Frank Harris' term. He loved to help people and was a very caring man who loved his family. Mr. Price served as a youth director at church when he was younger in St. Mary's, Georgia and more recently attended First Baptist Church of Villa Rica. He was a Mason with Ocean Lodge F&AM #214 and Noble of the Yaarab Shrine Temple. Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Ives Price of Villa Rica; his daughter, Jennifer Ham of Jefferson; his son and daughter-in-law, James "Jim" and Crystal Price of Woodruff, South Carolina; step-son, Michael Ives of Villa Rica and step-daughter, Corey Ives of Austell; his mother, Mrs. Emily Chandler Price of Anderson, South Carolina; his sister and brother-in-law, Fran and Jim Hofstadter of Anderson, South Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, David W. and Wanda Price of Kokomo, Indiana and brother, Greg Price of Hilton Head, South Carolina; grandchildren, Charlotte Renee Price, Claire Elizabeth Price, Maddox David Carignan, Rylan Brant Carignan, Bryce Chandler Carignan, Levi Walker Ham, Landon Ives, Noah Ives and Addison Ives; and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, July 17, 2020 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM. Funeral Services will be conducted, Friday, July 17, 2020 at 3:30PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Villa Rica.
