Johnnie Miller

Mr. Johnnie Vernoy Miller, age 73, of Temple, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. He was born June 26, 1941 in Temple, GA the son of the late Mr. Johnnie L. Miller and the late Mrs. Velma Seals Miller. Mr. Miller did a variety of agricultural jobs including farming, logging, and sawmilling. He was a bus driver for Paulding County for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Boyd Miller.He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynette and Bryan Powell of Temple, Tara and Chris Long of Hiram; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Pam Miller of Temple, Michael and Cathy Miller of Buchanan; ten grandchildren, Shane and Amanda Irvin, Clint Miller, Alicia Miller, Brett Powell, Landon Powell, Cody and Kaitlin Miller, Matthew Miller, Zach Miller, Taegan Long and Evan Long; one great-grandchild, Chase Irvin. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 5:00 Pm until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, October 31, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Harmony Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Grove Cemetery.
