Johnny Gilreath

Mr. Johnny Wayne Gilreath, 62, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017. He was born November 18, 1954 in Villa Rica, the son of the late Mr. James Fred Gilreath and the late Mrs. Laura Mae Marrow Gilreath. He worked as a construction foreman at Brasfield and Gorrie for over 25 years. He enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Gilreath. He is survived by his wife, Terrie Ann Verner Gilreath of Villa Rica; son, Jonathan Gilreath of Villa Rica; stepdaughter, April Brown of Villa Rica; stepson, Nathan Hogan of Carrollton; sisters, Mary Gilreath, Beverly Higginbotham and Patricia Mauldin all of Villa Rica; brothers and a sister-in-law, James Gilreath of Villa Rica and Rev. Michael and Anita Gilreath of Carrollton; grandchildren, Tiffany Sherbert, Russell Sherbert, Leann Hogan, and Frankie Hogan; great-grandchildren, Leland and Landon Gibson; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
