Johnny Michael Mooney

Mr. Johnny Michael Mooney, 57, of Winston, Georgia passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 at his home. He was born November 11, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. John Monroe Mooney and the late Mrs. Doris Ruth Braddy. He was of the Baptist Faith. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as an insurance salesman. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Elaine Mooney of Winston; daughter, Kerry Elaine Mooney of Temple; son, John Jacob “Jake” Mooney of Winston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda Dianne and Douglas Miller of Conyers and Patricia Lynn and Edwin Goddard of Conyers; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, October 6, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Corky Addison, Rev. Johnny White, and Rev. Terry Marbut officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Cemetery with military honors rendered by the Georgia Army National Guard. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Saturday, October 4, 2008 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and Monday, October 6, 2008 from 9:00 AM until the funeral hour.
