Mr. Johnny Phillip Morris, Sr., age 76, of Carrollton passed away on July 2, 2024. He was born April 2, 1948 in Atlanta to the late Mr. Lee Morris and the late Mrs. Velma Morris.
Johnny had a passion for adventure and exploration, which led him to travel far and wide. His time spent at Ford Motor Company was a testament his dedication and work ethic where he made a lasting impact through his contributions. Johnny's expertise in fixing cars and anything electrical was truly remarkable, showcasing his ingenuity and skill. One of Johnny's greatest joys in life was spending quality time with his family, especially his beloved grandkids. His warmth and affection created cherished memories that will be forever treasured by those who knew him. Additionally, his love for 4-wheeling allowed him to embrace the outdoors and experience the thrill of adventure. He had a passion for hunting and being outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Johnny “Phillip” Morris, Jr.; brothers, Dewey Morris, Fred Morris, Lewis Morris Eddie Morris; sisters, Evelyn Gregory, Betty Maddox.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lynn Morris; daughters, Donna (David) Johnson of Temple, DeAnna Jones of Temple; son, Roby (Rhonda) Morris of Douglasville; brother, Larry (Patricia) Morris of Roopville; grandchildren, Brandon Ledford, Dustin Morris, Tyler Morris, Dylan Morris, David Johnson, Jr., Seeley Jones, Junior Jones; great grandchildren, Braven, Brayleigh, Colby, Addeigh; numerous nieces and nephews.
