Joseph Eugene Bearden

Joseph Eugene Bearden, 89, of Blue Ridge, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. He was the son of the late Nina Beatrice Moody Bearden and Hoke Smith Bearden. 

Joe was a very intelligent man who possessed a very sharp and quick wit along with a charming sense of humor. Mr. Joe was a proud lifelong member of the Shriners as well as a train and railroad enthusiast who enjoyed meeting with his railroad enthusiast group. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Joe Bearden is preceded in death by his children, Becky Bearden Tuggle and Russell Troy Bearden; and brother, Keith Bearden. 

He is survived by his granddaughters, Charlotte Tuggle and Natalie Shelor as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Bearden was cremated. His family will be holding a private ceremony to celebrate his life. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
