Joseph Byous

Mr. Joseph Wayne Byous, age 72, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013. He was born October 10, 1940 in Sevier County, Tennessee the son of the late Mr. Joseph Carl Byous and the late Mrs. Sophie Mae Coward Byous. He married Eileen Cabe on April 23, 1960 in Atlanta. Before he retired, he was a business owner who operated his own plumbing business. He was a kindhearted man who loved his family. Before his illness, he loved nature and enjoyed the outdoors, yardwork, watching birds and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Eileen Cabe Byous of Douglasville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carmen and David Hobbs of Douglasville and Christy and Ronny Pierce of Villa Rica; seven precious grandchildren, Kurt, Kaylie, Kane, Jodi, Jesse, Garrett and Gracie; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. According to his final wishes, his body was cremated.
