Joseph Douglas Holland "Tuey"

Joseph Douglas “Tuey” Holland, 75, of Villa Rica, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. He was born on April 4, 1948, the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Holland and the late Margaret Odessa Swann.

Joseph, also known as “Tuey” loved his family immensely. He was a talented carpenter and he also ran H & H Auto Salvage. He adored all animals and took very good care of them.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his children, Sharron Holland and Judy Lynn Holland; brothers, Raymond Holland, Phillip Holland, Lee (BB) Holland; sisters, Cindy Holland, Sybil Dunn, Annie Kate Petty and Mary Ann Davis.

He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa McGuire Holland; son, Douglas Edward Holland of Villa Rica; sister, Beverly Berry; brothers, David Holland and Gaines Holland; several nieces and nephews; extended family, Essie and Tobe Cooke; special great-nieces, Randy Grace Cox and Blakeley Rose Cox all of Villa Rica.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Interment will follow at Powell Chapel Cemetery.
