Joseph Poore

Mr. Joseph David Poore age 28 of Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018. He was born October 10, 1990 the son of Darrell Joseph Poore and Marlene Carolyn Poore of Douglasville. He was an active member of Fairhaven Baptist Church. He loved his church and loved to preach. He ran the audio and visual at the church, loved the kids at church who referred to him as Uncle Joe. He loved to collect old comic books and was an I T for computers. He loved his nieces and nephews and stood for what he believed in.In addition to his parents he is survived by his brother, Joshua James and Jenny Leigh Poore of Douglasville. His grandparents; Bill Townsend of Douglasville, Rose Boyd of Texas, Roger and Gloria Poore of Meadowview, VA, William and Frances Cochran of Cartersville, GA. Aunts and Uncles; Kenny and Suzie Townsend of Douglasville, Billy Townsend of Douglasville, Melanie Boyd of Texas, Danny Poore of Virginia, Matthew and Vickie Poore of Virginia, John and Tonya Poore of Virginia, Karen and Kevin Negre of Louisiana; Nephews, James and Ian Poore of Douglasville and numerous cousins and extended family and many friends. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home on Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 5:00 PM til 9:00 PM. Funeral service will be conducted at the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home and Crematory on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. James Biddy and Rev. Randy Stephens officiating.
