Josephine Daniel

Mrs. Josephine Hall Vance Daniel, age 95, of Austell, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013. She was born March 25, 1918 in Carroll County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Charles Andrew Hall and the late Mrs. Nancy Edwards Hall. She retired as a secretary from Union Central life Insurance Company. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Douglasville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Mansfield Daniel, Sr.; brothers, Casper Hall, Tom Hall, Guy Hall and Jack Hall; sisters, Bessie Newman, Ila Mae Dobbins and Nellie Newman. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Frances and William A. Pearson of Douglasville; stepchildren, Josephine Daniel Smither, Jean Daniel Sexton, Patricia Daniel Fitzgerald, and William M. Daniel, Jr. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Leon Jeffords and Elder Jane H. Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Villa Rica. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Caring Hands Fund at Presbyterian Village, 2000 East-West Connector, Austell, Georgia 30106.
