Mrs. Josephine Marie Zoucha Jourdan, 91, of Lake Forrest Drive, Douglasville, Georgia passed away after an extended illness, Monday, February 27, 2006 at the Guardian Angel Assisted Living in Villa Rica, Georgia. She was born January 6, 1915, in Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. She was the daughter of the late Adam Zoucha and the late Mary Chohon Zoucha. Mrs. Jourdan was of the Lutheran faith. She worked in sales at a department store. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Martin August Jourdan; her brothers, Raymond Zoucha and Frank Zoucha; and her sister, Rose Rohrer. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Maxine and Ron Wilson of Douglasville and Janice and Ron Roy of British Columbia, Canada; her son, Robert Jourdan of Omaha, Nebraska; her sister, Frances Maxwell of Wisner, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Betty Zoucha of Stanton, Nebraska; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Adam and Mrs. Phyliss Zoucha of Omaha, Nebraska, Alphonse Zoucha of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Robert and Carol Zoucha of Petersburg, Nebraska; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Rob Maulella officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Hillcrest Cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska.
