Josh Cody “J.C.” Hutcheson, 90, of Villa Rica, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was born on December 13, 1934, the son of the late Alva Dewey Hutcheson and the late Ruth Annie Lovvorn Hutcheson.
Josh lived a life rich with love, laughter, and dedication to both family and his work. For over thirty-five years, Josh devoted himself to a career at the Ford Motor Plant, where his strong commitment helped him earn the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of his family. Beyond his professional life, he was known for his vibrant personality and unwavering Christian faith, which guided him throughout his journey.
Josh was a loving husband and father, always finding joy in the little moments spent with those he cherished most. His laughter had a gift for turning ordinary days into extraordinary memories filled with fun and joy.
He loved college football, especially the University of Georgia. He enjoyed the thrills of dog and horse racing, and he liked playing poker with friends. Hunting brought him joy as well, along with the time he spent farming. He farmed until he could no longer manage it. He held a deep appreciation for the great outdoors, often finding peace and happiness.
In addition to his parents, his was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Hutcheson; daughter, Donna Morgan Cole; several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, David and Sheri Hutcheson of Villa Rica; three grandchildren, Heather (Aaron) Engler, Sasha Hutcheson, and Diana Hutcheson; four great-grandchildren, Kristen (Matthew) Myers, Chase Stine, Logan (Haley) Stine, and Kameron Stine; great-great grandchildren, Willow Kate Stine, Asher Stine, Meleena Stine and Raiden Stine.
In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. There are no further arrangements at this time.
Josh’s spirit and zest for life touched everyone around him. His legacy will continue to shine brightly through the countless lives he impacted with his kindness, laughter, and unwavering love. He will be dearly missed but forever remembered.
