Joshua "Josh" Michael Cox

Mr. Joshua "Josh" Michael Cox, age 40 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021. He was born May 8, 1981 in Portsmouth, Virginia, the son of Mr. Frank Charles Cox, Jr. and Mrs. Christine Motusesky. Mr. Cox proudly served our country as an Aviation Ordinance Chief of the Navy. He was a fun loving and good person who never met a stranger. He loved hunting, fishing, being outdoors and was a devoted Georgia Bulldog Football Fan. Mr. Cox was of the Christian faith. Mr. Cox is survived by his children whom he loved very much, daughter, Annabelle Marie Cox; son, Joshua Parker Cox; mother, Christine Motusesky Miller of Lula, Georgia; father and other mom, Frank and Angie Cox of Douglasville, Georgia; sisters, Mae Sanderford of Atlanta, Georgia, Laura Cody of Douglasville, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Robyn Cox of Independence, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. Billy Lord officiating.
