Joyce Ann Heath Turner

Mrs. Joyce Ann Heath Turner, age 82, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021. She was born September 27, 1938 in Cave Springs, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Paul David Heath and the late Mrs. Annie Ruth Bell Heath. She worked as a machine operator for Shaw Industries. Mrs. Turner loved babysitting her grandchildren and spending time with her sisters. She loved her family and enjoyed reading. She was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church in Villa Rica. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Turner; her brothers, Ralph Heath, Harvey Heath and Bobby Heath; and her sisters, Peg Eaves and Faye Maddox. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Greg Godfrey of Villa Rica; her son, Jerry Turner, Jr. of Villa Rica; her sisters and brother-in-law, Marvine Forrester of Cedartown, Shirley and Jimmy Landers of Cedartown and Vivian Preston of Cedartown; her brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Vivi Heath of Cedartown; grandchildren, Shantel Akers of Hartwell, Casandra Meadows of Douglasville, Lacey Godfrey of Villa Rica and Caleb Godfrey of Villa Rica; great grandchildren, Fowlyn Akers, Hayden Akers, Reagan Spruill, Lincoln Godfrey, Skyler Meadows, Daxton Stanton, Imogen Hougas and Nora Hougas; and several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Monday, January 25, 2021 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 1:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Eddie Wyatt officiating.
