Joyce Farr

Ms. Joyce Ann Hope Farr, 67, of Bowdon, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was born March 15, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Charles W. Hope and the late Mrs. Frances C. Wallace Hope. She worked as a Bus Driver for the Douglas County School System. She is survived by her children: Melissa and Michael Pitts of Bowdon, Terry Wayne Farr Jr. and Kimberly Farr of Douglasville, Chris and Jodi Farr of Jackson, Michigan, Ashley Farr and Benjamin Newton of Douglasville, the father of her children, Terry Wayne Farr Sr., of Douglasville; twelve grandchildren: Savannah Farr, Seth VonDenBosch, Drew VonDenBosch, Austin VonDenBosch, Haylea VonDenBosch, Parker Farr, Owen Farr, Munro Farr, Ashton Newton, Jacob Newton, Bryce Newton, Lilah Newton and one great grandchild: Ireland VonDenBosch, sister, Dedra Iler of Townsend, Georgia; brothers, Michael Hope of Townsend, Ralph Hope of Townsend, Henderson and Julie Hope of Townsend; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Church at Chapel Hill 5357 Chapel Hill Road, Douglasville, Georgia 30135.
