Joyce Farrar

Mrs. Joyce Magolene Farrar, age 86 of Douglasville, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019. She was born October 29, 1932, the daughter of the late Mr. Chester Mitchell and Mrs. Caylee Little. Mrs. Farrar was involved in real estate for over 35 years. She was an active member of New Georgia Baptist Church, loved her church family. She loved her family very much and enjoyed cooking for them.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Wallace Farrar. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sharon Farrar of Loganville, Terry and Pam Farrar of Madison, Mike and Kim Farrar of Winston; five grandchildren, Kelly, Melissa, David, Tammy and Chris; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. Keith Stell officiating.
