Joyce Lamb Hoag

Mrs. Joyce Lamb Hoag, age 75 of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, January 22, 2021. She was born May 2, 1945 in LaFayette, Alabama, the daughter of the late Mr. James Foy Lamb and the late Mrs. Maude Effie Lamb. Mrs. Hoag loved going to church, taking care of her family and cooking. Mrs. Hoag was a member of Sunset Hills Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. John Clarence Hoag; sisters, Linda Dalon, Francis Andrews, Louise Palmer; brothers, Jimmy Lamb, Ernest Lamb, and Jerry "Bubba" Lamb. Mrs. Hoag is survived by daughter, Teresa Logan of Tampa, Florida; sons and daughters-in-laws, Jason and Amanda Evans of Douglasville, Georgia, Steve Evans of Douglasville, Georgia; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Billy McWhorter of Fayetteville, Georgia; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Frank and Sarah Lamb of Woodstock, Georgia, Wendell and Gail Lamb of Senoia, Georgia, Harold Lamb of Douglasville, Georgia; nine grandchildren, Brittany Logan of Tampa, Florida, Meghan Logan of San Francisco, California, Hannah Logan of Arkansas, Cassie Logan of Tampa, Florida, Tyler Evans and Meghan McGrinder of Douglasville, Georgia, Jennifer Evans of Douglasville, Georgia, James Baggett of Douglasville, Georgia, Abigail Baggett of Douglasville, Georgia; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. Marcus Miller officiating.
