Joyce Marjory Ireland Church

Mrs. Joyce Marjory Ireland Church, age 98, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021. She was born May 17, 1922 in England. Mrs. Church worked for and retired from JC Penney as a retail buyer. She was a very thoughtful and caring woman, who never missed a birthday, was an avid letter writer to family and friends and always helped others before herself. Mrs. Church loved people, traveling and spending time gardening. She was very involved in her church and sang in the choir. She was a member of Transfiguration Lutheran Church in Irondequoit, New York. Mrs. Church was preceded in death by her husbands, Bernard Rubley and Christopher Church; her son, Michael Rubley and her sister, Doreen Ireland Garland. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Scott Wilson of Douglasville; numerous grandchildren.
