Joyce Mary Johnson

Mrs. Joyce Mary (Wright) Johnson, 73, of River Pointe Overlook, Winston, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at Wellstar Douglas General Hospital in Douglasville, Georgia. She was born July 27, 1932 in Birmingham, England. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Fredrick Wright and the late Mrs. Minni (Carles) Wright. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Douglasville. She worked as a professional cook and housekeeper. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Wilfred Johnson on September 20, 2005. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Victoria and Carl Wilson of Winston; her son, Dennis H. Johnson of Cumming; her sisters, Shelia Homan and Jean Hughes, both of Birmingham, England; 5 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial services will be conducted Friday, January 20,2006 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church in Douglasville with Reverend Mike Lowery officiating.
