Juan Salinas, Jr., age 65, passed away on December 24, 2024. He was born on April 18, 1959, in Ranger, Texas to the late Mr. Juan Salinas, Sr. and the late Mrs. Soledad Trejo Salinas.
Juan leaves behind a legacy of compassion, humor, and unwavering positivity. For over 32 years, Juan owned and operated his own painting company, where he dedicated himself not only to his craft but also to cultivating meaningful relationships with his clients and community. His work ethic was unwavering, reflecting the dedication he had towards his profession and family alike.
Despite facing significant health challenges, including long-term heart problems, Juan was a true fighter. His determination and ability to maintain a positive outlook on life were inspiring to all who knew him. He was a kind and generous soul, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a laugh, earning him a reputation as a jokester and a friend.
Juan treasured many hobbies, including woodworking, which allowed him to express his creativity and craftsmanship. Above all, he cherished spending time with his beloved grandchild, Eddie Jr., who brought immense joy and pride to his life. His family was undoubtedly his greatest accomplishment.
Juan Salinas, Jr. will be missed dearly, not just for the memories shared but for the love and laughter he brought into the world.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 20 years, Mrs. Hilda Salinas; son, Eddie Salinas; grandson, Eddie Salinas, Jr.; brother, Ricardo Salinas and his wife Lucila; sisters, Alejandrina Acosta and her husband Bruno, Leticia Labin, and Esther Bouziden and her husband Jeff.
The family will receive friends on December 31, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Georgia. The burial will take place afterwards at Sweetwater Memorial Park in Hiram, Georgia.
