Juanita White Adams, 91, of Douglasville, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025. She was born on February 8, 1934, the daughter of the late Lewiston “Looch” White and the late Addie Elizabeth White.
Juanita left behind a legacy of love, faith, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. She was a cherished member of County Line Baptist Church for more than forty-five years. Her devotion to her church began when she was just thirteen years old. She taught Sunday School and she enjoyed singing in the church choir, both testaments to her faith. Juanita's family was at the heart of everything she did. She loved them deeply and dedicated her life to caring for others, always placing their needs above her own. Her compassion for her family and others created an environment of love and unity for her family, where each gathering was filled with laughter and cherished moments.
In her professional life, Juanita was proud to have spent many years contributing her skills to Douglas County EMC/Greystone Power before retiring. Her work ethic and commitment to excellence were evident in all her endeavors, echoing her undying dedication to service in every aspect of her life.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Edward “Jack” Adams; son, Vince Adams; daughter-in-law, Beth Adams; and brother, Preacher Johnny White.
She is survived by her children, Mark (Sandra) Adams of Douglasville and Kent (Angie) Adams of Bremen; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Douglas Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Douglas Chapel with Mr. Jerry Adair and Mr. Danny Horsley speaking. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
