Juanita Reynolds McElroy

Juanita Reynolds McElroy, 69, of Villa Rica, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026. She was born on April 14, 1956, the daughter of the late Clyde Reynolds and the late Eveline Estelle Vincent.

Juanita had an unwavering love for her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Juanita was known for her feisty personality and vibrant spirit. She found great joy in flowers and just being outdoors.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Lee McElroy; son, John Lee McElroy, Sr.; brothers, James Reynolds and Barry Reynolds; sisters, Florence Reynolds and Katherine Bryant.

She is survived by her children, June and Matt Laney of Bowdon, Geneva and Randall Patterson of Villa Rica; brothers, Larryand Barbara Reynolds, Sr. of Mt. Zion, Richard and Gloria Reynolds of Waco; grandchildren, Michael, Johnny, John, Ashley, Daisy and Summer; great-grandchildren, Macy, Madison, Skylar, Daisy and Celecity; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at Jones-Wynn Villa Rica Chapel on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Justin Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

Juanita’s legacy will live on through the many lives she touched with her kindness, laughter, and fierce devotion to those she loved. Her memory will forever be a source of strength and inspiration to her loved ones.
