Mrs. Judith Lanning House, age 73, of Douglasville, passed away, Tuesday, June 2, 2015. She was born March 25, 1942 in Rich Hill, Missouri the daughter of the late Mrs. Mary Shelton Lanning. Mrs. House was an accountant for Benning Construction Company for many years. She loved crafts, ceramics, crocheting and most of all her family. She is survived by her husband, Terry Aubrey House of Douglasville; daughter, Leslie House of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Brenda House of Lowell; sister and brother-in-law, Maxine and Anthony Mitchell of Independence, MO; brother, Arthur Lanning of Independence, MO; three grandchildren, Devin Lassetter, Ansley House, and Arden House; three great-grandchildren, Addisyn Lassetter, Samson Lassetter, and Tuck Lassetter; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 5:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Grieme officiating.
