Judy Lee Pate Burton

Mrs. Judy Lee (Pate) Burton, age 62, of Douglasville, Ga went home to be with the Lord on August 7, 2007 at 11:30 PM. Judy was born in Panama City, FL but Douglasville was her home for 12 years. She worked at Cobb County Police Department, retired from Lockheed, and then spent time with her family. Judy was preceded in death by her Father and Mother, James and Winifred Pate, and one Brother Sidney Pate. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, James Burton; one son Jason and daughter in law, Amanda. Two grandchildren, Madison and Taylor. She is also survived by a sister, Anita Bittick of Panama City, FL; three brothers, James Pate, Nashville, TN, James H. Pate, Santa Maria, CA, and Robert Pate of Youngstown, Florida. She is also survived by a mother-in-law, Tensie Burton; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home.
