Judy Woody

Mrs. Judy Traylor Woody, 68, of Lineville, Alabama passed away Monday, May 14, 2018. A native of Douglasville, she was born April 20, 1950 the daughter of the late Mr. Oliver Evan Traylor and the late Mrs. Darcus L. Head Traylor. She married Howard Clifford Woody, Jr. on October 15, 1969 in Heflin, Alabama. She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and crossword puzzles. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two children, Jamie Lynn Woody and Howard Leonard Woody. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Howard Clifford Woody, Jr. of Lineville, AL; daughter and son-in-law, April and Bobby Bristol of Jasper, GA; son, Donald Woody of Lineville, AL; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Rev. David New and Annette and George Thomason all of Douglasville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Margaret Traylor of Valley, AL; one grandchild, Taylor Chaney; one great-grandchild, Kinslee Sophia Shae Woody; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, May 18, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. David New officiating.
