Mrs. Julia Woodall Hennon, formerly of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away after an extended illness at her daughter’s residence in Douglasville on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, April 10, 2006. She was born August 30, 1923 in Summerville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Woodall and the late Hazel Marie Rose Woodall. Mrs. Hennon worked in the textile industry as a sock boarder. She was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hennon is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Edward McGuire; her second husband, Walter Hennon; her brother Bob Woodall; and her sisters, Madolyn Castleberry and Grace Crain. Survivors include her daughters, Joan Evans of Dallas, Wanda Carol McCarty of Douglasville, Emily Carrillo of Carrollton, Judy Sosa of Villa Rica, Marcell McGuire of Carrollton, Teresa Holland of Villa Rica, Pat Cherry of Carrollton, and Brenda Harris of Villa Rica; her sister, Jean Evans of Villa Rica; 22 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Kersey and Rev. Ron Huggins officiating. Pallbearers will be Jerry Albert, Mark Dorough, Keith Smith, William Strickland, William Lashley and Russell Norton. The family will be receiving friends in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Friday, May 5, 2006 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
