Julian Miller

Mr. Julian Paul Miller, age 72, of Piedmont, AL, passed away Monday, December 1, 2014. He was born November 1, 1942 in Villa Rica, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Dewey LaFayette Miller and the late Mrs. Nancy Jane Cole Miller. Mr. Miller worked for Lockheed as an inspector for many years. He was an avid Gospel Singer and was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Marice Rice Miller; brothers, Lawrence Miller, Leonard Miller, Lowell Miller, Watson Miller and sister, Elsie Miller. He is survived by his daughters, Cynthea Powell of Dallas Bonnie Jones of Euharlee; sister, Evelyne Southerland; six grandchildren, Rachel and Jack Hebb III of Dallas, Dara and Andrew Wick of Georgia, Eric and Danielle Powell of Georgia , and Christine and Jason Rabun of Georgia, Wesley Harrison of Cartersville, Miranda and Shane Bohannon of Cartersville; seven great grandchildren, Jack Hebb IV, Clara Jane Rabun, Makenzie Powell all of Georgia, Parker Bohannon, Hannah Bohannon, Tyler Bohannon and Callie Bohannon all of Cartersville; loved ones formally related by marriage. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Friday, December 5, 2014, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 5, 2014, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
