June Price Morgan

Mrs. June Price Morgan, age 80, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born June 7, 1929 in Udilla, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Charlie Arthur Price and the late Mrs. Amanda Duma Price. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She retired from J.C. Penney after many years and was a homemaker. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed time spent with her beloved family. She loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Willis A. Morgan of Douglasville; her daughter, Debra Ann Morgan Payne of Villa Rica; sister, Hazel Barrett of Carrollton; brother and sister-in-law, Winford and Jo Price of Powder Springs; her grandson and his wife, Travis and Lindy Smith of Temple; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Smith and Austin Smith; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, July 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Charles W. Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
