Karen Sue Allen, 64, of Douglasville, GA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, September 22, 2025. Born on July 7, 1961, Karen lived a life full of love, laughter, and selfless devotion to others.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Steven Martin Allen; her children Derek Allen, Mitchell Allen, Nicole Allen Beheler (Matthew), and her beloved grandchildren Nathan Lee, Abigail and Nicholas, who were the light of her life. Karen also leaves behind her twin brother Tommy Tucker; siblings Jimmy, Rosie, and Jeanie; her cherished niece Jackie Tucker; and other countless extended family and friends. She was also deeply loved by her League of Stars baseball family, whom she proudly considered part of her own.

Karen was happiest under the warmth of the sun, relaxing by the pool, or camping beneath the stars with a good campfire. She found immense joy watching her grandsons play sports, conversations and visits from her granddaughter, and dedicated her heart to coaching her son’s adaptive baseball team the League of Stars at Hunter Park. For over 10 years her passion for the game went far beyond the field—it was about creating a place of belonging, love, and encouragement for everyone involved.

Known for her heart of gold, Karen was passionate, loyal, honest, and never afraid to speak her mind. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her warmth, strength, and unwavering love. Her memory will continue to inspire future generations, reminding us of the power of kindness and the importance of community.

Karen’s legacy will live on through her family, her friends, and the countless lives she brightened with her spirit. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. As we celebrate her life, we hold close the cherished memories she created and the love she freely gave.
