Karen Emma Mae Owens

Ms. Karen Emma Mae Owens, age 63, of Hiram, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020. She was born February 21, 1957 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Henry "Chuck" Lavelle and Julia Ann Holmes Washington and the step-daughter of the late William Washington. She worked and retired from a digital corporation. Ms. Owens is survived by her daughters, Tiffany Owens of Riverside, California and Melissa Owens of Villa Rica; her mother, Julia Ann Washington of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her sisters and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Frederick Williams of Stockbridge, Sylvia Owens of Atlanta and Edith Mann of Albuquerque, New Mexico; her brother, Bill Owens of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and many adopted brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews also survive. According to Ms. Owens wishes, she will be cremated. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, March 8, 2020 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglasville.
