Karen Skoczylas

Karen Jean Duncan Skoczylas, February 13, 1946 - June 5, 2016, Beloved Wife, Friend, Partner and Soulmate of Kenneth John Skoczylas, answered our Lords glorious call to come home to Heaven. She was welcomed to heaven by the warm and loving arms of her Parents Jean and Clarence Duncan. She has two loving sons Jason and John, however because of her caring and nurturing nature so many others grew to love her, they too called her “mama”. The families of her brothers Bruce Duncan, Keith Duncan and her sisters Dianne Crooks, Nancy Manley, Judy Olbon and Cheri Cornett will forever cherish the wonderful memories that they will not hold tightly but instead will share them like the very air they breathe. Lasting emotional bonds were made with anyone who knew her. None more so than with her grandchildren Aishlyn, Elizabeth and Isac, who will share memories of their “GRANDMA” with their children and their children’s children. All who knew Karen would say she was a pillar of strength, wisdom, courage, honor, compassion and most of all LOVE. Our world will feel a lot less full without you. We will all miss you until we join you in the kingdom of heaven. God Bless You! Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, June 10, 2016 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Park.
