Katharina Rech Meder

Katharina Meder, 90, of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was born on May 12, 1933.

Katharina was a member of Church of Living God in Port Jervis, New York, where her husband pastored for several years. She also owned The Living Water Christian Bookstore in Port Jervis, New York. Katharina enjoyed spending time with her family and gardening.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Martin Meder; son, Martin G. Meder, and her sister Anna Fischer.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, John Meder of Connecticut and Michael and Betty Meder of Carrollton; grandchildren, Suzie and Matthew Gordon of Villa Rica, Sara and Tom Petruno, Amanda Meder, and Emily Meder all of Pennysylvania, Adam Meder of Carrollton, Eric Meder of Louisana; three great-grandchildren, Madison, Chelsea, and Cortana; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. There are no further arrangements at this time.
