Katherine Pitts

Mrs. Katherine Victoria Pitts, age 54, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born June 12, 1957 in Rome, Georgia. She married Roy Pitts on August 16, 1978. She was a member of Victory Tabernacle. She was devoted to her family and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Roy Pitts of Villa Rica; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Greg Cummings of Villa Rica and Holly and Joey Capra of Villa Rica; stepson and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Melinda Pitts; her mother, Sinda Ellen Cadle Allen of Butler; sister, Cheryl “Sherry” O’Neal of Butler; 4 grandchildren, Stella Capra, David Pitts, Kelsey Pitts and Tyler Cummings; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica, Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, December 12, 2011 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Pastor Roger Luke officiating.
