Kathleen S. Zinsmeister

Mrs. Kathleen Seay Zinsmeister, age 82, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at WellStar Douglas Hospital. She was born January 27, 1929 in Paris, Kentucky. She was of the Methodist Faith. She was a homemaker and a childcare provider for over 15 years at the First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Zinsmeister, Sr. in 1987. She is survived by her three daughters, Sandy Blaylock of Hartwell, Judy Hammill of Dalton and Beth Hummel and her husband, David of Lexington, KY; three sons and daughters-in-law, Herman C. Zinsmeister, Jr. and his wife, Suzanne of Douglasville; Terry Zinsmeister and his wife, Charlene of Houston, TX, and Jody Zinsmeister and his wife, of Becky of Jackson; 6 grandchildren, Scott Zinsmeister, Leslie Zinsmeister, Alexius Zinsmeister, Harriett Zinsmeister, B.J. Zinsmeister, and Tyler Hummel; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Sinyard officiating. Entombment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Monday, May 9, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
