Kathryn Lee Turner Patterson

Mrs. Kathryn Lee Turner Patterson, age 89, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away peacefully Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Douglas County Hospital. She was born November 11, 1920 the daughter of the late Mr. William Mosco Turner and Mrs. Leona Vickery Turner. She was a secretary for many years and a homemaker. She was the oldest member of Chapel Hill Road Baptist Church and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Mack Patterson, Sr.; son, Richard Patterson Jr.; sister, Elizabeth Creel. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Jim Nuttall of Ivanhoe, IL; son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Betty Patterson of Douglasville; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville with Rev. Randy Shirley officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Douglasville, Monday, August 2, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
