Kathy Garrison

Mrs. Kathy Jones Garrison, age 61, of Temple, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice. She was born October 12, 1951 in Athens, Tennessee the daughter of the late Mr. Clyde Cecil Jones and the late Mrs. Ruth Mae Golden Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of LifePoint Ministries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Weeks and brothers, William Jones, Morris Jones, Steve Jones, and Harrison Jones. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Sidney Edward “Eddie” Garrison of Temple; daughters and son-in-law, Kimberly Land of Villa Rica and Holly and Chris Bright of Rockmart; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Heather Land of Cleveland, TN and Travis and Stephanie Garrison of Dallas; sister, Charlotte Jones of Cocoa, FL; brothers, Jay Jones of Englewood, TN and Millard Jones of Villa Rica; nephew, Tim Norton of Cocoa, FL; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; numerous other nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Junior Grumbein and Chaplain Ron Daniel officiating.
