Kathy Sue Hill

Kathy Sue Hill, age 72, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on April 27, 2024. She was born on February 13, 1952, in Douglasville, Georgia, to the late Mr. James M. Tucker and the late Mrs. Catherine L. Conard.

Kathy was known for her friendly and bubbly personality, always radiating happiness wherever she went. She was deeply family-oriented and cherished her loved ones more than anything else. One of Kathy's greatest joys in life was spending time with her family. She took immense pride in her children and grandchildren and considered them to be her proudest accomplishments. In addition to her devotion to family, Kathy had a passion for puzzles and games. She found solace in the challenge of solving puzzles and always enjoyed game nights with loved ones. Kathy also had a deep love for the beach, particularly the sunny shores of Florida. Traveling was another interest of hers, allowing her to explore new places and create lasting memories.

In addition to her parents, Kathy is predeceased by her daughter, Diane Clark; great-grandson, Donovan Earls; brother, James A. Tucker and sister, Mary E. Adams.

Kathy is survived by her son, Shawn (Katelynd) Campbell; sisters, Carolyn Lewis and Brenda (Michael) Bowden; brother, Jack (Julie) Tucker; granddaughters, Emily Chilton, Summer Chilton, and Madison Teal; as well as great-grandchildren Lillyanna Campbell, Wyatt Teal, Sylas Chilton, Declan Campbell, and Paisley Teal.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Mike Powers officiating. Interment will take place at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.
