Kathy Jean Lane Fernander

Mrs. Kathy Jean Lane Fernander, 54, of Temple, Georgia passed away Monday, October 13, 2008 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. She was born March 30, 1954 in DeKalb County, Georgia the daughter of the late Roy Eugene Lane and the late Beverly Sue Martin Lane. She was of the Baptist Faith. She worked as the traffic manager for the Miller Zell, Inc for over 33 years. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed motorcycle riding and music. She participated annually in the Bikers For Boobs motorcycle ride. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Lane and grandsons, James Dillon Payne and James Micah Payne. She is survived by her husband, Nicky Fernander of Temple; daughter, Michelle Payne of Atlanta; sons and daughter-in-law, Doug Weldon, Kyle Fernander and Calvin and Kimberly Fernander all of Temple; 4 grandchildren, Tyler Fernander, Daniel Fernander, Savannah Payne and Kaylee Weldon; and father-in-law, Bill Fernander. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Bray officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
