Katie Ruth Parr Martin

Mrs. Katie Ruth Parr Martin, 78, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Monday, July 2, 2007 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. She was born April 4, 1929 in Douglas County, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. William Ulas Parr and the late Mrs. Katie Addieline “Addie” Creel Parr. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs and was a sales clerk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Martin and three brothers. She is survived by two sisters and brother-in-law, Marie Smith of Douglasville and Ellen and Billy Dobbins of Hiram; a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Marion Beaver and Rev. Mike Sinyard officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Friday, July 6, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
