Mr.Ken Deaton Yearwood, age 70, of Douglasville passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Born on March 3, 1953 to the late Mr. John Yearwood and the late Mrs. Betty Yearwood. Ken lived a life full of remarkable experiences and touched the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him.
Ken had a great passion for motorcycles. As a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, Ken exemplified what it meant to be truly family-oriented. His love and commitment will forever remain an inspiration to those fortunate enough to have witnessed such profound devotion. In addition to being a family man, Ken possessed exceptional craftsmanship skills. Whether he was honing woodworking skills or tinkering with various projects. Anyone who knew him knew what "BBLOTE" meant…ALLEGEDLY.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vickie Yearwood; daughter, Keisha (Shelby) Taylor of Douglasville; son, Kacy (Tarah) Yearwood of Douglasville; sister, Dee (Garrett) Feis of Douglasville; brother, Ronnie (Judy) Yearwood of Hiram; grandchildren, Hannah (Sean) Alexander, Haylee (Dylan) Portwood, Chase (Josie) LeCroy, Brittany (Colt) Taylor; great grandchildren, Memphis, Brentley, Branson, Emmy, Hallie and Khloe.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. The memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM.
