Kenneth Ledbetter

Mr. Kenneth Lamar Ledbetter, age 69, of Temple, passed away, Thursday, September 21, 2017. He was born April 19, 1948 in Atlanta the son of the late Mr. Ernest William Ledbetter and the late Mrs. Lorraine Donaldson Ledbetter Glover. Mr. Ledbetter served in the United States Army. He worked for Sun Transport for many years. He loved to fish, read and work on anything with a motor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth James “Jimmy” Ledbetter; grandmother, Alice Moore Ledbetter Wigley; brother, Lowell Glover; step-father, Gene Glover, Sr.He is survived by his wife, Rita Faye Driver Ledbetter of Temple; daughter, Terri Matello of Temple; son, Tony Ledbetter of Temple; sister and brother-in-law, Rosalyn and Steve Bailey of Carrollton; brothers and sister-in-law, Vernon and Debra Glover of Jefferson, Darrel Glover of Carrollton; two grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Matello, Vincent Troy Matello; great-grandchild, Bella Jordan Hall; Several nieces, nephews, extended family and special friend and mother of two of his children, Linda Ledbetter. Memorial Services will be conducted Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Temple Church of God with Pastor Homer Wilburn officiating.
