Kevin Michael Hodges, age 29, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 in Douglas County during the Atlanta Flood of 2009. He was born September 20, 1980 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was a cabinet maker and enjoyed riding four wheelers. He was an avid fan of the University of Alabama football team. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lt. Col. Jack O. Gardner and paternal grandfather, R.C. Brown. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kathleen âKathyâ Gardner Brown and Robin Brown of Douglasville; his father, Richard Craig Hodges of Austell; sister, Tiffany Brown of Douglasville; brothers, Chris Hodges of Villa Rica and Greg Hodges of Marietta; maternal grandmother, Joanne Landrigan Gardner of Douglasville; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Marjorie Hodges of Austell; paternal grandmother, Robbie Brown of Douglasville; many aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, September 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Mike McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
