Lanny Bostwick

Mr. Lanny Ivan Bostwick, age 73, of Carrollton, passed away, Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was born July 31, 1944 in Fulton County, the son of the late Mr. W. A. Bostwick, Sr. and the late Mrs. Alice Woods Bostwick. Mr. Bostwick served in the United States Marines. He was a fan of football and an avid outdoorsman, who loved to fish, camp, hunt, scuba dive, horseback ride and any other adventurous activity he could conjure up. He was a wonderful husband, daddy and paw paw.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, W. A. Bostwick, Jr., Allen Bostwick, Joe Bostwick, and Milton Bostwick; sister, Gloria Fitts. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Boggs Bostwick of Carrollton; daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and William Burke of Villa Rica, Lori and Tommy Leo of Villa Rica, Kara Morgan and fiancé, Wynn Carden of Villa Rica; son and daughter-in-law, Ivan and Michelle Bostwick of Villa Rica; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Eleanor Bostwick of Winston; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Mary Boggs of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Taylor Burke, Scott Bostwick, Alex Burke, Ty Leo, Katie Burke, Kylie Leo, Peyton Bostwick, Kristen Bostwick, Hayden Morgan; several nieces and nephews ; grand-puppy, Barkley also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Monday, April 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM from First Baptist Church of Villa Rica with Rev. Jeff Powell and Rev. Todd Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Midway Macedonia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Villa Rica, 1483 W.
