Larry Bolen

Mr. Larry Lynn Bolen, of Douglasville. Mr. Bolen was born January 30, 1953, the son of Mr. Thurman Lee Bolen and Mrs. Delphia Bentley Bolen. He was employed with Douglas County Schools where he taught at Lithia Springs High School and Alexander High School as an English Teacher. He began his teaching career in 1987, helped coach many sports at Lithia Springs, was the narrator of homecomings at Lithia Springs. He served as an Army Veteran. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Carol Hoppe Bolen; brother, Garry Bolen.He is survived by his parents, Thurman and Delphia Bolen; sons, James Bolen, and Jonathan Bolen; brother and sister-in-law, Darryl and Belinda Bolen.According to his wishes he was cremated and will be placed with his wife.Messages of condolences may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
