Larry Bowman

Mr. Larry Millard Bowman, 76, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017. He was born September 3, 1940 in Northeast, Maryland the son of the late Mr. Elwood Bowman and the late Mrs. Ella Mae Preston Wilkinson. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked in the construction industry. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Donna Renee; and a brother, Bill Bowman. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol Taylor Bowman of Douglasville; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Julie Bowman of Smyrna; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Brenda Bowman of Alabama; one grandchild, Kira Anne Bowman; several nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be conducted Friday, July 28, 2017 at 12:30 PM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Military Honors will be provided by members of the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
